Analyze and interpret physical abuse indicators, focusing on bruising characteristics such as age, coloration, patterns, and contextual factors to differentiate between accidental injury and potential abuse.

Assess risks associated with child protection concerns, considering cultural contexts and thresholds, to develop comprehensive risk management strategies for safeguarding teams and school leaders.

Introduce Child Focused SAFE Interviewing © techniques to facilitate effective communication and engagement with children during safeguarding investigations, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

Navigate challenging conversations with parents and other stakeholders sensitively and effectively, employing strategies to address concerns and promote collaborative problem-solving.

Learn to balance universal child protection principles with local cultural sensitivities to ensure effective and respectful interventions.

Develop structured plans for conducting child protection inquiries, incorporating best practices in policy adherence, information recording, and reporting procedures.
