Tiffany’s Bio: Tiffany is a passionate advocate for Safeguarding who has strengthened and furthered the practice in Schools from the Governance perspective. Tiffany served as the Vice Chair of the BOD for The American School in Japan (2016-2019) charged with implementation of Safeguarding initiatives at the school. She also served on the Advisory Council on Student Safety at Punahou School in Honolulu, HI (2020-2022). Tiffany’s background prior to her involvement with schools was to develop medical education curricula, medical writing, and in launching and marketing pharmaceutical products. She holds a BS in Education from Boston University. As a survivor of abuse herself, and as a parent and grandparent observing future generations face new and challenging issues affecting their well-being, Tiffany wants to use the skills learned in her professional and volunteer career to broaden the understanding of Safeguarding as a practice, knowing that the best chance for success is in building community-wide competency.
